Directly accessible

You can make an appointment directly at Imperial Fysio. A referral from your general practitioner or medical specialist is not required for this. You are, of course, free to consult your general practitioner or specialist beforehand, but this is not a requirement to receive treatment.

Reimbursement from basic insurance

Physiotherapy is reimbursed under the basic insurance in only a limited number of situations.

For children and young people up to the age of 18, the first 18 physiotherapy treatments are covered by the basic insurance. For certain chronic conditions included on the national list for chronic physiotherapy, a different arrangement applies. In that case, the treatments are reimbursed under the basic insurance starting from the 21st treatment. In this case, the mandatory deductible is applied first. The first 20 treatments are covered by the supplementary insurance or by the patient themselves.

Reimbursement from supplementary insurance

Many health insurers offer reimbursement for physiotherapy through supplementary insurance. The number of treatments reimbursed varies by insurer and supplementary package. Therefore, we advise you to check your policy conditions or contact your health insurer.
